Hence the hydrolysis of trichloromethane with aqueous KOH gives formic acid (HCOOH).

then all

ions 
combine with h+1
and 
3oh group 
adds 
to
carbon
and from two oh remove water 
so 
producta are as follows
HCOOH (formic acid)
and 3 moles 
of HCl
