problems related to equations or reactions can be solved by either mole method or equivalent method..but in case when we use mole method balencing of eqation is must..while using equivalent method balencing is not must..
e.g CH4 + 2O2------------> CO2 + 2H2O
1mole 2mole 1mole 2mole
for equivalent metohd no. of equivalents of any substance reacts are taken equal.
