how to distinguish between ethanol and propanone at least 2 tests

A 2-DNP can be used to distinguish them.
The ketone would give the bright ornage ppt. but not the ethanol.
This is the first test to test their presence.
Secondly, Jones reagent can be used as for alchol the Cr would change its oxidation state and a ornage color would be seen but not with ketone.
