The isomerization ofglucosetofructoseis part of the glycolysis cycle that converts glucoseto pyruvate. The way this is done is to isomerize the aldehyde (hemiacetal)glucose to theketone (as a hemiacetal)fructose,and make another phosphate ester. Below by that process we can convert fromglucosetofructose.
