Acetophenone is made from benzene by a method called Friedel Craft`s acylation where Ethanoyl chloride is added to benzene is presence of an electrophile like AlCl3P.S. I didn`t answer the first part of the question for the simple reason that I don`t know the answer

In !st part of question treat C2H5Br with Br2/hv. it gets converted to C2H4Br2. treat this with KCN.YOU’LL get CH2CN-CH2CN.
then reduce with LiAlH4.You’ll get CH2NH2-CH2NH2
