how much volume (in litre) of CO2 at STP ( o degree celsius, 1 bar pressure) is produced from eacvh other from each gram of amyl alcohol burnt? [ atomic mass: h= 1.0u, c= 12.0u, o=16.0u, Na= 6.022×10 23 mol -1]

Amyl alcohol are alcohols of the form C5H12O. So the reaction would yield:

                   C5H12O+6.5O2 gives 5CO2 + 6H20.

So 88 g of amyl alcohol will give 44*5g of CO2 so for every gram of amyl alcohol we will get 2.5g of CO2.So that would mean 1.27 litres of CO2.
