how can acetyle converted to ethyl acetate???????????????

So, we’re starting with acetylene, or ethyne, which is C2H2.
First, we can reduce it with hydrogen gas in the presence of Lindlar’s catalyst to get ethene.
Add HBr to get bromoethane, than add aqueous KOH to get ethanol.
Then, we can split our ethanol into two parts.
Leave one part as is, then oxidize the other part with KMnO4 to get ethanoic acid.
React ethanol with ethanoic acid in the presence of a dehydrating agent like conc. H2SO4 to get ethyl acetate.
