The alkene is cyclic. It is cyclopentene. Please apply the easy tecnic here also. Write the structure of the compound cyclically and omit the 2 "o" s & join the 2 "c" s. You can get the result...Please approve my answer if you find it helpful...

One of them will be cyclic. But there are infinite acyclic alkenes. The number of carbons will be multiple of five and will have terminal aldehyde group. There will be double bonds such that the alkenes is symmetrical. In this cyclic can also be generated.
