  1. chain having maximum no. of multiple bonds would be the main chain.
  2. Parent chain contains maximum no. of carbon atoms.
  3. Parent chain having more no. of substituents.
  4. Numbering is done in such a way that multiple bond gives lower no. and then substituent.
  5. in double and triple bond positions if are same then numbering is done from double bond.
  6. Numbering is done by alphabetical order.
