 The first organic compound prepared in lab was  “UREA”  it is prepared by inorganic compounds. And urea or carbamide is an organic compound with the chemical formula CO(NH₂)₂. The molecule has two —NH₂ groups joined by a carbonyl (C=O) functional groups.

the first organic compound made in labrotory was urea and it was prepared by stanley chen and hebert boyer , 
after that its conformed that the organic compound also can be made in labrotory artificially .

Urea was the first organic compound to be prepared in the laboratory, which was by synthesised chance. It was prepared by Friedrich Wohler, a German chemist in the year 1828. Wohler synthesised urea from an inorganic compound, ammonium cyanate.
