stability of carbocation depends of mesomeric effect, hyper conjugation and inductive effect . there are two type of inductive effect +i and -i . in stability of carbocation both plays a major role , suppose there is a carbon atom having a positive charge and it is connected with electron donating group then carbocation will be a bit stable and if a carbocation is connected with electron withdrawing group then the carbocation will have very less stability.. for solving question releated to stability of carbocation we need to think of three thing first we will see mesomeric effect , then hyperconjugation and then inductive effect .
