explain RS system of configuration of optical isomers

R stands for Rectus and S for Sinister.
It is used to denote the enantiomers.
First check the priority of the substituents from four ,the lowest priority would be first then after second.
And confugure the directionCW or ACW.
For ClockWise direction it would R and for anticlockwise it would be S.
