hydrogen bonding can be defined as an attractive force in which the hydrogen atom of one molecule will attract a electronegative atom of anathor molecule ,
its of two types
1- INTERMOLECULAR H BONDING – this type of bonding take place between molecules of same compound or diffrent compound .
for example – hydrogen bond between molecule of ammonia .
2- INTRAMOLECULAR H BONDING – this type of bonding take place between the same molecules
example – ortho – nitrophenol
IN VSEPR THEORY , its all about predicting the shape of molecule and its state that the shape of molecule will depend upon its bond pair and lone pair present in the valence shell .
