SIGMA COMPLEX
1- the formation of sigma complex follow the intial formation of a complex known as a pi complex .
2- sigma complex involves the actual bonding
3- lower energy and high stability
PI COMPLEX
1- it does not involves actual bonding
2- electron transfer does not occur during pi complex formation
3- higher and less stability than sigma complex .
