as far as configuration are concerned , it refers to the arrengement of various isomers in the 3d plane of the molecules , and its a common thing o represent the isomers . 
CONFORMERS ARE configurational isomers obtained by rotation across carbon – carbon single bond , 
two isomers of this types are 
1- staggered isomers 
2- eclipsed isomers type
