Cholorobenzene upon reaction with AgNO3 produces no white ppt of AgCl as if it were then it will give very unstable phenyl carbocation,again due to resonance C-Cl bond is strong and hard to break.but hexyl chloride will give yellow ppt with AgNO3,as hexyl carbocation produced can further rearrange.
