carboxylic is more acidic than phenol... why?explain with an example

Hey Student.. As per what is required in this question, you need to take into account the basic concept of equivalent resonating structures which are possible in the case of carboxylic acid and not in the case of phenol. becoz of these equivalent resonating structures there is more stability and hence more will be the corresponding acidity.
