for optical isomers => formla = 2^n-1
  wher n is no of chiral carbon 
chiral carbon = carbon attached with 4 different species

STEREOISOMERS HAVE TWO TYPES CONFIGURATIONAL AND CONFORMATIONAL
 
AND GEOMETRIC ISOMERS ARE THE PARTS OF CONFORMATIONAL
 
BEST THING FOR GEOMETRIC ISOMERS ARE IT HAS OF TWO TYPES 
1 CIS 
2 TRANS 
BOTH WILL HAVE DOUBLE BOND OR PI BOND
 BUT IN YOUR QUESTION THAT STRUCTUrE DOESNT HAVE ANY PI BOND 
SO NO GEOMETRIC ISOMERS

But the answer given in book is 2 isomer for both the que.....how is dat possible then?

IN THIS CASE 
GEOMETRICAL ISOMERS ARE ALSO DEFINED BY RESTRICATED ROTATIONS 
AND THESE RESTRICTIONS CAN BE OBSERVED IN UNSATURATED OR CYCLOALKANES .iT IS A PROPERTY AS YOU CAN STUDY FROM YOUR TEACHER 
 SO THIS STRUCTURE WILL HAVE 2 GEOMETRIC ISOMERS IN 3 DIMENSIONS ONLY.
