Aldehydes react with schiff's base and give pink color.Also,aldehydes react with fehling's solution and benedict's solution to give carboxylic acids....where as ketones do not react ih these solutions.... Carboxylic acids react with Na,NaOH and NaHCO3....alcohols only react with Na which shows that they are acidic in nature..but alcohols are weak acids than water except CH3OH....and...Ketones when reacted with sodium prusside(red color) and few drops of NaOH change its color to orange....
