B1*35.5/B2-B1  WE MUST MULTIPLY 35.5 BECAUSE THIS IS THE ATOMIC MASS OF CHLORINE. B2-B1 IS THE MASS OF THE CHLORINE THAT HAS COMBINED WITH THE ELEMENT OF B1 GRAM

Equivalent mass of element chloride=35.5* (wt. of element/wt of chlorine)
Weight of element is B1.
Weight of element chloride is B2.
Thus,weight of chlorine is B2-B1.
Therefore using the above eqn,
The required answer will be 35.5*(B1/B2-B1)
