Sir with heartfull gratitude, Sir I got confused when I saw the same compound with 2 different IUPAC NAMES IN TWO DIFFERENT BOOKS.(ONE WAS BOARD BOOK AND OTHER WAS IIT JEE BOOK) SIR WHICH ONE IS CORRECT IUPAC NAME FROM THESE 3-ETHYL-5-METHYLHEPTANE (BOARD BOOK) OR 5-ETHYL-3-METHYLHEPTANE (IIT JEE BOOK) Yours truly, SAGAR KANDPAL
