hello sir,

m preparing for iitjee 2011...cn u tell me which of the three branches of chemistry enjoys the most weightage????is it organic chem,as many people say??

Dear Student, This is a good question but not for a students. You should prepare all three branches eqally. Total number of problems of Physical chemistry will be more than organic chemistry. Organic chemistry will be at second position. But now a days IIT-JEE increasing the percentage of inorganic chemistry from only 10 %. So inorganic chemistry may be more than 10 %. IIIJEE thinks that most of the students skip the inorganic chemistry and focus only physical and organic chemistry. so they are trying to % of inorganic chemistry year by year. and at that time there may be small difference between organic and physical chemistry. But this is sure that organic and physical chemistry will have more than 35% and +0% to +8% in that . So dear student , try to prepare all three branches. Pramod Kumar IIT R
