Electronic structure of High Temperature Superconductors:
Well, we know that a conventional superconducting compound is made from a simple Fermi-liquid metallic state and electrons will be help in Cooper pairs by an attraction(lattice phonons).
The two hypotheses that describe electronic structure for high temperature superconductors are
1.resonating valence bond theory
2. Spin fluctuation
