sir, i have a big confusion how to convert an aldehyde into an alkane when a acid sensitive and base sensitive groups are present in a molecule simultaneously. it appears that clemmensens reduction and wolff kisher reaction both seem to fail.

CoolAldehydes general formula is CnH2nO.Alkane is CnH2n+2.so,by removing o and adding 2 H to forms alkane.
