PARTICIPATES  IN  RESONANCEas it has pie bonds and a negative charge!

yes these groups readily participates in resonance. these has  -I character that halps in rasonance...........

1)COO- ion possess two pie electrons.so it can participate in resonance.e.g:CH3COO-.

2)NH3+ ion has a lone pair of electrons in nitrogen.so it exhibits isomerism.

3)CH2 is a electron donating group.so it exhibits isomerism.

Ok.....I got it..nh3(plus) doesn''t and coo(minus) does.....what about ch2(plus) ...it has vacant orbital right?
