Aniline forms a salt with Aluminium chloride(the lewis acid which is used as a catalyst in friedel crafts reaction). Due to this nitrogen atom of aniline acquires a positive charge and hence acts as a strong deactivating group and thus doesn ''t allow the reaction to take place.
