thre are manyfactors that stabilise carbo cation

  1. +i group stabilise the carbocations
  2. resonance
  3. hyperconjugation.more the hyperconjugation more is the stability

many factors constitute stability of carbocations

  • hyperconjgation
  • resonance
  • +ieffect

more the hyperconjugation more the stability .

more the resonance more the stability

more the strong +i group more stability

1 degree>2 degree>3 degree

this is the sequence of reactivity

so stability is opposite

so ans is 3>2>1

it is same for free radical

this will make you remember easily for both free radicals and carbocations

if you are satisfied then please approve it

I  CAN  GIVE  U  A TRICK  FOR THAT:

Learn this trick or code whatever u say:

"A  MR.  HI" {To be pronounced as - Ae mister hi}

Where A stands for Aromaticity, M represents +Mesomeric effect, R stands for Resonance, H is for Hyperconjugation and I represents + Inductive effect.

Use this trick to decide the stability of all the carbocations by checking these in sequence.

PLZ  APPROVE!
