What is the mass of 1 L of mercury in grams and in kilograms if the

density of liquid mercury is 3 13.6 g cm ?

Density = Mass/ Volume
or Mass = (Desnity )(Volume)
Given that,
Volume = 1L = 1000 cm3
Density = 313.6 gcm-3
So,
Mass = (313.6 gcm-3)(1000 cm3) = 313600 g = 313.6 kg
So, Mass of the sampe of mercury in gram =313600 g
Mass of the sampe of mercury in kilogram =313.6 kg
