Brilliant tutorials' module says that "When a meta-directing group is meta to an ortho/para-directing group, the incoming group primarily goes ortho to the meta-directing group rather than para.", but it does not follow this property in its questions (for instance, the very first example on the next page). Yes this is a fundamental rule as mentioned in Brilliants tutorials.

The example might be an exception or you please post that example so that we can clarify in a much better manner..
