dear hv , in first molecule both groups attached to C are(methyl) are same so not capable for syn anti isomerism but another one is having 2 different groups(H,CH3) attaches so it has 1 steriogenic center....

but the answer is 1 for 1st compound and 2 for 2nd compound. It also considers nitrogen.
