dear nikhil

carbenes are of two type -

singlet - sp2 hybridised

triplet -  sp hybridised

triplet carbene is more stable than singlet carbene...

carbocation is a specie which has +ve charge on carbon atom , this carbon is SP2 hybridised ...

there is no lone pair at this carbon..

stablity order = benzyl>allyl>3o>2o>1o

carbanian is a specie which has -ve charge on carbon atom...carbanions are SP3hybridised ...

lone pair remains with this carbon...

stablity order = benzyl>allyl>1o>2o>3o
