It is similar to comparing stabillity of carbocations. three degree radicals are more stable than 2 degree are more stable than 1 degree radicals. Also make sure of resonance stabilization/hyperconjugation/inductive effects which also may stabilize free radicals.
Order of stability of radicals :
3º benzylic > 2º benzylic > 3º > 1º benzylic ~ allylic > 2º > 1º > methyl radical > vinylic
