the easiest method is to name each point as C and then satisfy the hydrogens !! thats what i always do :)

First of all the edges or corners in a bond line strutcure show Carbon atoms.
The rules are the same
1.Find the longest carbon chain. Write the word root for the parental alkane/alkene/alkyne
2.Start counting from where you can access the substituents at the least poistion.
3.Now just name it according to the prefixes and suffixes mentioned for each functional group.
There are plenty of examples in NCERT Class XI Textbook where you can see the actual process of nomenclature and you would get a fair idea.
