dear aakansha goel,

The standard enthalpy of combustion is the enthalpy change when one mole of a substance completely reacts under standard thermodynamic conditions.

therefore for alkenes or any other,

enthalpy of combustion is equal to the difference of enthalpty of products ( formed whwn one mole of reactant reacts completely )and reactants.
