Electrolysis of NaCl solution gives NaOH and Cl2 since the system contains ethyl alcohol,NaOH, and Cl2.These reactants on reaction gives chloroform
the reaction for that is as follows
NaOH + Cl2 + C2H5OH -----------------------> CHCl3 + NaCl + H2O
this is the reaction and the percentage of sodium chloride doent matter
