1-penten-4-yne will react with bromine to produce the final product 1,1,2,2,4,5hexabromopentane.  Clearly ,if Br2/CCl4  is given in excess amount then firstly 1,2-dibromo-1,4-pentadiene will be formed . But since this is a non conjugated diene , therefore it will not be so stable . Again addition of Br2/CCl4 will take place on the diene and thus the correct answer will be B). Approve the answer if correct !!
