In JEE Mains, the most important topics from Physics are Mechanics(class 11) and Electromagnetism(class 12). The level is comparitively greater than state level entrance exams and will require practice with such questions. Read the topics thoroughly from good books and practice their numericals(from pas competitions as well) as you proceed. Having a good pace with solving problems is must, which will only come from a lot of practice.
