Dear Prachi

Trace out the lines y = x and y = -x. 

y = x sin x will be zero at the same places that y = sin x is.

As for the values of x when sin x = 1 or -1, make y = x sin x touch y = x or -x, respectively instead. 

Now, you can draw the curve. (It will be oscillatory and have higher and lower values as x goes away from 0 in either direction.
