I want to know about the percentage questions from the different part of PCM as organic, inorganic, physical, mechanics, kinematics, algebra, calculus etc.

no one can guess what are important chapters....as all the chapters are important.....

you can have a look at previous year papers ......

questions are there from all the chapters and it depends on you leave topics like probability,stats...which carry less marks and are bit tricky..........

Hi Diwakar,

All the chapters you have mentioned from PCM, are all very important topics and would form a major chunk of the IIT JEE Paper.

It could vary from 30% to 40% for each of them individually from Physics, Chem and Maths.
