as u knows according to bohr electron moves in the orbits and its wave like fashion ,
and the no of wave generated will be equal to the circumference of the orbits .
and its found that electron in nth orbit will generate n no of waves ,
so, its simply the motion of electron in orbit , thats what called as wave .
