The photosynthetic efficiency is the fraction of light energy converted into chemical energy. or as in the language of modern physics u can say , the ability of capacity of the plate to respond to the photons which are coming in the forms of sunlight ,.
AND it have major effect on photoelectric current as , if the photoefficiency of the plate will be more , then , it will respond to more photons and emit more electrons .
so, there is a directly proportional relationship .
