What is 1242ev-nm? How it can use to find threshold wavelength??

This the standard eV has been defined to calculate the Energy from Planc's eqn. directly from the given thershold wavelength in Angstorm.
Hence the formulae would be:
E = 1242/(wavelength in Angstorm) eV.
