Calculate the electrostatic force between the charges.



When the uncharged sphere is touched with the sphere A then the charge on the sphere A and the new sphere will be equal to q/2 and again when touched with the sphere B then the total charge on the sphere C is 1.5q.hence, the total charge on the sphere A and C is 0.75q as shown in the figure.

Calculate the force on the sphere C due to the sphere A.


Calculate the force on the sphere C due to the sphere B.

Calculate the net force on the sphere C.
