Mathemeatically,
Ruhterford was able to calculate the radius of gold central charge by how far the alpha paticle tries to penetrate the 100 es foil. And it was less than 3 x 10^-14 meter.
and it was comared  to less than 1/3000th times diiameter of the atom.
Despite he was unaware of those orbits in which the electron was revolving and seemed that eventually the electron loses its energy after all revoling around the nucleus and fall into it.
