in characteristic x rays , electrons of high energy come nd knock out the electrons from k shell. then transition of electron takes place from l shell to kshell emitting egengy photon which is actually called x ray in books. BUT NOW WHERE THE ELECTRONS OF HIGH ENERGY RESPONSIBLE FOR KNOCKING OUT AND ELECTRONS KNOCKED OUT GONE? DO THIS MEAN THEY ALSO COME ALONG WITH XRAYS?????????
