If R be the resultant of vector and B vector if we reverse one of the vectors the resultant becomes SProve the R square +S square=2(Asquare+Bsquare)

Vector  R = Vector A + vector B
R =√(A2+B2+ 2ABcosѲ)---- (1.)
R2 = A2+B2+ 2ABcosѲ
If the vector reversed that means direction will be reversed now the cos Ѳ will be negative here
S = vector A – vector B
S =√(A2+B2- 2ABcosѲ)
S2 =(A2+B2-2ABcosѲ)----(2.)
Add eq (1.) and (2.)
R2+S2 = 2(A2+B2)
