linear accelration is used for linear motion or any trajectory motion.
whereas,
angular acceleration is strictly used for circular motion or a part of the circular curved motion.
The relation b/w them is,
angular accln. = linear accln./radius.
Example-> a clock has hour or minute hand moving in a circle hence they both would have angular accelrations not linear acclns.
