find the difference in the orbital radius of an electronin the rutherford atom if the electron is initially in an orbit of 5.29x10^-11 m in radius and the atom radiates 2.0 ev of energy

If the atom is in the radius of .53 angstrom that means it is in the first shell i.e. corresponding to n=1. So, the atom cannot further lose energy and go further inside. Rather, it will gain energy if it needs to transit to another energy shell.
