According to the problem

v=2gh=√2glcosθ ,a1=gsinθ
ac=v2/l=2gcosθ
Net acceleration will be horizontal if the vertical components ofac and atcancel each other.
For this ,accosθ=atsinθ
⇒2gcos2θ=gsin2θ⇒anθ=√2
