“A light has the wavelength 6000 angstrom in air and 4500 angstron in water. the what is the speed of light in water?” Whcih formula are we supposed to use in this question to get the answer. i got this question from an engg entrance exam question paper.

First, find the refractive index of water:
$\lambda '= \frac{\lambda }{\mu }$
Here $\lambda$ is wavelength of light in air.
after finding refractive index, apply the formula for absolute refractive index:
$\mu =\frac{c}{v}$
v is the velocity of wavelength in water.
